Rhianna is from the mountain town of Pine, Colorado and is the 24 year old daughter of James and Kimberly Russell. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree through Colorado State University’s online campus, focusing on Business Management and Biotechnology. She plans to seek a career in pharmaceutical research. Rhianna’s early interest in horses began with her participation in the 4H Traildusters where she participated in horse shows, emphasizing the western discipline. Later, she became a member of the Westernaires Drill Team. As a member she participated in roman riding, dressage, and liberty. She also held several leadership positions including drill team captain and received the prestigious E.E Wyland Interclub Award. She served as the 2006 Evergreen Rodeo Princess and the 2008 Elizabeth Stampede Queen. It was her experience as a local rodeo queen that led her to the Miss Rodeo Colorado Pageant. Rhianna has spent time volunteering for many organizations including the Colorado Trail, the Denver Rescue Mission, and the PRCA’s Industry Outreach. Rhianna has several interests including snowboarding, boating, longboarding, embroidery, and spending time with family and friends.
