A driver who understands soft tones

Edgars Rinkēvičs leaves a gap in Riga. For the time being, the Latvian government has no foreign minister. And finding one with his experience will not be that easy. Rinkēvičs, at the age of 49, will rise to his country’s highest office this Saturday: on July 8, he will take the oath as President of Latvia. On May 31, the Saeima, the Latvian parliament, elected him.
