Mykola Nowitskyj died in war after a good decade. As early as 2014, when Russia began his submission war against the former Soviet Republic in the Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, Nowitskyi signed a contract with the National Guard of Ukraine. Soon he became a commander of the special unit Omega. After the extensive invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he fought in Kharkiw and Bachmut, most recently he led special commands at hot areas of the front in eastern Ukraine.
