Three kilometers north of the old town of Jerusalem is the Skopusberg, one of the highest surveys in the city. A modern castle similar is a campus of the Hebrew university. Next to it is the Hadassah Hospital, and a little downhill is the soldier's cemetery for the former British mandate power. If you want to go to the university from the western part of Jerusalem today, you usually take the bus or take the tram to Ammunition Hill, a base of the Jordan Army until 1967. Then it goes through the Palestinian-Arabian district of sheikh Jharrah uphill.
