Mountain air makes you talkative

Robert Habeck stands in the cold of Davos, behind him snow-covered fir trees and lots of flags. His breath rises into the air in little clouds. It's still early, but the German economics minister seems highly motivated. Apparently he wants to demonstrate why politicians like him are here in Switzerland: This is about world politics. And Habeck talks about Ukraine. The president of the battered country is also in Davos that day; Habeck will later meet Volodimir Selenskij in a large delegation with many CEOs, including Siemens boss Roland Busch and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The perfect backdrop for a few topics beyond the difficult things that usually concern the minister when he is in Germany. There are no farmers here protesting loudly.
