Sasha Marianna Salzmann receives the Kleist Prize 2024. To award this special literary prize, a jury set up by the Heinrich von Kleist Society selects a person of trust who then decides on their own responsibility. This year it was the author and podcaster Samira El Ouassil. Sasha Marianna Salzmann writes plays, novels and essays. Last appeared the correspondence with Ofer Waldman “Simultaneous” published by Suhrkamp Verlag. Here we document Salzmann's acceptance speech in an abbreviated version.
