Art Capital of Europe: Suddenly Paris again – Culture

If three people from the so-called art world are standing together in Berlin at the moment, then there is a high probability that at least two of them are raving about Paris. How much richer, more international and generally more vital the contemporary art scene is there. Museum directors and collectors from overseas almost only come to the French capital, but hardly ever to the German capital. There is a lot of sarcasm in this. Because until recently, Berlin was the place where everyone thought they had to be. Paris was considered a museum: touristy, expensive and dead. Now it sounds like the exact opposite.
